STATEMENT OF FAITH
I Believe:
· in the divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory.
· in the spiritual unity and equality in Christ that Christ requires us to seek to conform our actions, thoughts, and desires in obedience to Him.
· that for salvation, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, and is received through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and not as a result of good works.
· that every Christian has responsibility, and a unique capacity to love the body of Christ through their individual talents, resources, time, and all other means available to them.
· that Christ has called us to defend the defenseless and support the body of Christ persecuted for the sake of their faith in Him.
· that every Christian is called to love the nations, according to John 3:16, and Matthew 28:16-20
