FIACONA Promotional Event in Houston Highlights Unity and Advocacy
The Federation of Indian American Christian Organizations of North America (FIACONA) hosted a successful promotional event titled “Houston Stands with the Persecuted Church” at Ludwig Christian Center in Houston, Texas.
The event brought together clergy, church leaders, and believers from various denominations, alongside city public officials who addressed the gathering and expressed support for FIACONA’s mission.
Advocacy Director Stanley George delivered a compelling presentation outlining FIACONA’s ongoing work, including recent updates and initiatives to support persecuted Christians in India.
A key outcome of the event was the formation of FIACONA’s Houston Chapter, with a 15-member ad hoc committee established to lead regional efforts. In a strong show of support, 82 individuals signed up to become members of FIACONA, committing to engage in its mission.
The event was chaired by Coordinator Dan Mathews, who facilitated the evening’s program and discussions. Attendees proposed several promising ideas for networking, advocacy, and fundraising, further energizing the movement in the region.
FIACONA extends its gratitude to all who participated and looks forward to continued collaboration as we advance our shared mission to defend religious freedom and stand with the persecuted Church.
